AI Strategy · Innovation · Governance · The Future of Organizations

Italo Farfán Vera is an artificial intelligence strategist and technologist working at the intersection of AI, innovation and business transformation. His work focuses on helping organizations translate advances in artificial intelligence into practical applications that create meaningful impact across industries and society.

I work across regulated industries — fintech, banking, energy, public sector — bridging the gap between what AI can do and what organizations actually need it to do.

Italo holds a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from the Technical University of Madrid, graduated with academic distinction. He later pursued doctoral research in artificial intelligence and autonomous agents and has completed advanced training in data science, technology strategy and AI governance through institutions including MIT, IE Business School and IAPP. His work explores the future of intelligent systems and the broader impact of artificial intelligence on organizations, industries and society.

Teaching

I believe the connection between industry and academia is essential — especially at the executive level. Sharing real-world experience, methodologies, and frameworks for strategic implementations and critical thinking helps leaders navigate their organizations with a clearer understanding of both technology evolution and people. Bridging AI strategy with practical leadership helps teams and decision-makers develop the clarity they need to drive meaningful transformation.
